Who Are We? What Do We Do?
YouthMappers at AU is the American University chapter of the global organization, YouthMappers. YouthMappers at AU was founded in 2019 by Graduate Student in Development Management, Lidia Awad, and has been growing ever since.​
The goal of YouthMappers at AU is to sensitize the American University community on the applications and need for digital mapping and to give them the skills necessary to use GIS software to map.
YouthMappers at AU hosts Map-A-Thons each semester in addition to monthly Meet + Map sessions. If you are interested in GIS, humanitarian aid, development, or just want to make some new friends in the AU community, join YouthMappers!
